One of the latest social media trends is streaming live from Facebook to have your friends and family follow you live within that moment. Unfortunately for Antonio Perkins, 28, Facebook was able to follow him through his last moments of life. Last week Friday, he was shot in the head and neck in Chicago’s west side while streaming live on Facebook live.

According to BBC, the video is still available to view on Facebook, with a warning message of its graphic content. In the video Perkins can be seen hanging outside with friends. Moments later multiple gunshots can be heard and the phone tumble as his body falls. Bystanders can be heard screaming as they rush to his side. A Facebook spokesperson said the video does not violate the company’s policy, nor does it celebrate or glorify violence, which is why it currently remains on Facebook.
