Tidal has seen quite the increase in subscriptions after the release of Beyonce's highly acclaimed Lemonade album. According to the The New York Times, the release of "Lemonade" has been streamed over 306 million times on Tidal so far and has resulted in 1.2 million new Tidal users. Tidal still remains the only place where you can legally stream 'Lemonade' even though it's available for download and purchase via other outlets.
Of the 306 million streams, 229 million (roughly 75%) were from the United States.
