• Your just not their type 

If this is the case, there is nothing much you can really do because we all have an idea of what we want our partners to be like or look like. This could in terms of height, hair colour, body shape and so many other factors . But don't you ever change for anyone. You may not be their type but your someone else's type. Best advise let go of the feelings and find someone else.

• They like someone else 

Sometimes the person you like is not giving you the attention you want because they probably like someone else. In most cases the person wont tell you they like someone else and just string you along, so that if it doesn't work out with them, they will come to you. But, don't be deceived because it might just be a little too late. There will always be someone out there interested in the person your rejecting. 

• Your trying too hard/ always available 

Ladies do not chase a guy, guys do not like to be chased , they like to do the chasing.
And to all the men out there, women don't like it when you keep trying to convince them, that you would make the perfect partner.

Both men and women, please try and avoid always being there at the person's beck and call, or replying to their messages immediately. We believe that us doing that, shows how much we care  and brings us closer but in fact it will make the person start thinking that your either to clingy or obsessed. So do not come across as being too desperate, because if you keep pushing it, you will end up pushing them away. 

• They don't think you're compatible

We all have a check-list of some of the important qualities we look for in a partner such as religion, culture, background, view about life, career etc. The person may have all the qualities and characteristics your looking for in a partner, but that does not mean you tick everything on their check list. So best advise move on and you will eventually find someone that will appreciate all your qualities. 

• Not ready for a relationship

In most cases , people are not looking for a relationship because they probably just split from their ex or maybe they are not looking to commit to someone or are still enjoying their single life or they enjoy living their life like a player. 

If you are reading this and you know you don't want a relationship and your stringing someone along , STOP!!! be honest with them and just tell them that your not looking for something serious, they will really appreciate it.  How would you feel if someone was wasting your time.

• Age difference

It could be that the person is much older than you and they don't like dating people who are much younger than them. They may still think that you are hot, sexy, cute but that's it.

But we all need to remember age is just a number. Love has no age limit or restrictions. You never know, they may just be the one for you.

• Unrealistic/Unreasonable standards 

Some people have unreasonable, crazy demands and expectations about who they are looking to settle down with. If this you, please be realistic because your not perfect either.
Do not waste your time on such people !!!

• Too good looking to be their girlfriend/boyfriend 

A lot of men do not want to get in a relationship with a pretty woman and same with some ladies , they prefer to settle down with someone that is not too handsome. This is because some people feel like the girl or guy is too good for them, or they wont be able to deal with all the the attention the guy/girl gets or they think the person would leave them for someone better. Honestly this is all about insecurity, I do not think that a person's look should stop you from settling down with them. It is all about TRUST !!!

• Ruin your friendship

She/He probably only sees you as a friend and they would not want to do anything to jeopardize your friendship, because your friendship means a lot to them. If this is the case , let them know you only see them as a friend, don't waste they time and NO your not being horrible , you just respect them enough, not to string them along.

•  Scared to ask you out 

This mainly applies to men. A lot of men out there are too scared to ask a woman out, even if she ticks all the boxes of what they are looking for in a woman. If this is you , you have to man up and get your woman, because if you don't someone else will ask her out . She won't wait for you forever and you don't want to keep asking yourself what if !!!
