Woman who attacked news reporter on air, has been arrested !

The woman who randomly attacked news anchor while she was live on air, has been arrested.

Iris Delgado was wrapping up her report outside of Philadelphia’s City Hall Wednesday night when she was approached by 37 year old Waheedah Wilson. When she seemingly ignored Wilson, Delgado was slapped in the back of the head and punched in the face.

According to the news station, the attack was unprovoked. Delgado’s news crew followed Wilson a block before police arrived and took her into custody. Waheedah Wilson was charged with assault and recklessly endangering another person. Delgado suffered pain to the right side of her head. She sought medical attention and will be taking a brief break from her anchor duties. Watch the shocking footage below!
