Mike Epps’ estranged wife isn’t walking away from her more than ten year marriage without a fight.
Mechelle McCain-Epps wants spousal support as well as full legal custody of the couple’s two children, according to docs the wife filed in LA Superior Court, which were obtained by BOSSIP.
McCain-Epps said her marriage breakdown was due to :
“irreconcilable differences,” and requested a full accounting of everything they both acquired before, during and after their separation so the court can decide what she is entitled to.
“Respondent is in the process of ascertaining the nature, type and extent of the parties community and quasi-community property assets, debts and claims of reimbursement,” McCain-Epps wrote May 17, according to court docs.
The wife has said she’d been blindsided by Epps’ decision to file for divorce. But Epps meanwhile has been behaving like a single man; model Lira Galore blasted him earlier this month for thirstily sliding into her DMs.

Interestingly, McCain-Epps listed their date of separation as February 2016, while Epps said in his filing that they’d been apart since June 2015.
The pair have been married since 2005, and have a two daughters, aged 10 and 8, together. Epps filed for divorce in January, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.
