Famous 'Shield' actor, Michael Jace has finally received his judgement after two years. The actor who shot his wife in front of their two kids back in 2014 has been sentenced to 40 years in prison to life. E! confirmed the news yesterday.

Before the actual sentencing Jace apologized to his wife’s family saying, “There were no justifications for his actions.” According to KNBC, the actor only wanted to hurt his wife not actually kill her. After jurors deliberated over the course of two days they switched the verdict from first-degree murder to second-degree because no evidence was found that this was a premeditated murder.
