A few days ago, Tayje Jones shared a picture of herself going to prom and the picture quickly went viral. However it went viral for the wrong reasons, as people on social media started retweeting her picture with mean captions that attacked the way she looked.
Celebrities such as Kelly Rowland showed their support by retweeting her picture and complimenting her. Yesterday, Tayje Jones took to her Facebook to confront those mocking her ! Read what she wrote below !
"I thought this was going to be the best day in my life . . . but I got laughed at by how I looked . . . I got called names for how I look. I left early to go lay in bed and cry myself to sleep. I hope if anyone else feels the way I feel they keep they head up. be life's too short to want to try and kill yourself or wish u wasn't here . . . we are all God's children and he picked us to be in this world for a reason."
