A few days ago it was reported that British born singer, Rita Ora, who is currently signed under Roc Nation is suing the label for failing to produce a follow up to her debut album. It was reported yesterday that Roc Nation which is run by Beyonce's husband, rapper and business mogul Jay-z is now counter-suing the 25 year old singer.

Jay Z has filed a $2.3million lawsuit against the singer, who he signed back in 2008 before promoting her as the next big thing. Rumours are circulating that this whole thing is because of the beef Rita has with Rihanna.
A source told 'The Sun' that :"Rihanna has never liked Rita
and has been using her power at Roc Nation accordingly. This is the main reason the label's execs have been uninterested in putting effort into promoting Rita. Songs that might be submitted to her are automatically given to Rihanna, who may then hold them for months before deciding she doesn't want them.''
Her ex boyfriend is also on the same label, and he has earned the label a lot of money!!!
"The fact that Rita's ex Calvin Harris is on their management books hasn't helped either. He is one of their highest earners and they did nothing to stop him when he blocked Rita from using songs that he had written on her album."
