41 year old Dave Mirra was an American BMX bike rider. He held the record for most X Games medals until being passed by Bob Burnquist in 2013. It was reported that Dave took his own life on Thursday, February 4, 2015.
Dave shot himself in the head in an SUV parked outside his best friend's house, Scott Ashton in Greenville, North Carolina. This was just within days of his 10th wedding anniversary. He was just 41 years old. He left behind a wife and two daughters
