A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Brighton The victim suffered serious injuries after the incident at 3.40pm on Thursday January 14 in Montague Place in the Kemptown area. A 31-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, both from Brighton, have been arrested. The man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious injury, attempting to pervert the course of justice and aggravated vehicle taking. The woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice. They are both still in custody at this time. Police are still appealing for witnesses.
